Why we specialise

We help businesses grow — it’s why we specialise

For more than 20 years, we have helped businesses grow. That is the reason we specialise in six industries: hospitality, pharmacy, medical practices, construction, building supply, and import & export.

Most of our clients started small — often as a one-person professional practice or a family business. Twenty years on, some have grown into leaders in their industries.

We have been beside them at every stage: the first company registration, the first employee, the first premises, and the plans for what comes next. Wherever your business is today, we would be proud to help it grow.

    Where it gets complex

    • Two businesses in one: front-of-shop retail and PBS dispensary, each with very different margins and stock behaviour
    • PBS reimbursement timing and the working-capital gap it creates between dispensing and payment
    • Inventory and shrinkage control across thousands of lines, with date-sensitive stock
    • Wage and roster costs against trading hours, plus pharmacist-in-charge and ownership rules

The common thread is depth: we know how these businesses are structured, where the value sits, and what the regulators are looking at.

You work with a partner, not an overseas call centre. We hold client information in Australia, agree scope and fees up front, and act in English or Mandarin. Common questions

A few things business owners ask before they get in touch.

  • Which industries do you specialise in?

Hospitality, pharmacy, medical practices, construction, building supply, and import and export. That is where our depth is, and most of our clients sit in one of them. We do act for businesses outside these sectors as well. The best way to find out if we are a fit is a short conversation with a partner.

  • Do you help new businesses get started?

Yes. We handle company registration, ABN, TFN and GST setup, Xero setup and the first year of tax obligations, then stay with the business as it grows.

  • What happens in a first consultation?

You talk to a partner, not a junior. We listen to where the business is, look at your current structure and numbers, and tell you plainly what we would do and what it would cost. There is no obligation to proceed.

  • Where are you located and which areas do you serve?

Our office is at Suite 5, 2-8 Burwood Highway, Burwood East VIC 3151. We act for businesses across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, including Box Hill, Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley, Blackburn, Doncaster and Clayton, and for clients across greater Melbourne.

  • Which accounting software do you work with?

Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks. If you are already on one of them we work in your file; if you are choosing, we will recommend what suits your industry and size.

  • Is my information kept in Australia?

Yes. Client data is held in Australia and handled to the highest privacy standards under the Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles.

  • Do you provide services in Chinese?

Yes. We provide all tax, accounting and advisory services in both English and Mandarin Chinese, using accurate Australian terminology in each. 我们提供全面的中文服务。

  • Are you a CPA firm and a registered tax agent?

Yes. We are a CPA Australia member firm and a Registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board, registration number 76731015, bound by APES 110 professional and ethical standards.
